We Kick off the preseason as former Miami Dolphin Quarterback Dan Marino is getting indcuted in the hall of fame. His former team tees it up against the team which Mr. Marino had himself a game for the ages in 1985, when Marino and the Dolphins defended the Dolphins perfect season and put the only loss on the Ditkas 85 Bears. This game will have considerably less drama, yet plenty of intrigue. If you are a fan of the NFL edge you know how we kick butt in the pre-season and one solid bet in the preseason is a new coach debuting in the preseason. They are usually playing all out to win and the 70-odd percent of the time they do. Wannstedt is gone and new coach Nick Saban will have plenty to play for in front of a big partisan Dan Marino/Dolphin crowd. Saban will also have the luxury of Ricky Williams to go along possibly with Rookie Ronnie Brown. Yet the Dolphins best weapon may be third string QB Sage Rosenfels, as this one will be decided late in the fourth quarter.
