They were exposed a little by a team with a solid offensive line and good running game. Atlanta also features a very solid running game and a ferocious defense.
However Atlanta is only 1-2 ATS on the road. Yet they feature a solid running game and a tremendous defense.
Dangerous as it may be to take a roadie in Miami, I really dont see Miamis offensive line handling Atlantas pass rush.
That spells trouble big trouble for the Phins.

This here is a huge match up in the NFC south, as we predicted in our Forum, once Tampa starts playing some teams in the NFC South they should come back to the pack.
Carolina has dominated this series lately as they have covered in 7 of the last 8 meetings, and easily swept away the Bucs last season.
The Bucs were upset in San Fran last week, and Carolina dominated Minnesota, this game will mark the changing of the guard in the NFC South,
as Carolina will ascend into first place.
Chicago at New Orleans +2.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! * EXTREME NFL MATCH UPS Another interesting match up, as the sliding Saints get a visit from the bruising bears.
The Bears are winning with solid defense, while the Saints have been losing games due to thier inept offense.
That can only mean one thing. A big bad bears road victory. New Orleans has won 5 of the last 6 in this match up, but that will change due to the generousity of the Saints offense.

Ravens played pretty good on Monday night, and Cincy, despite winning last week, didnt really overwhelm a very down Packer team.
This game has all the makings of a home dog barking loudly. The Ravens have dominated this series lately taking 7 of the last 10 meetings,
so the Ravens will have plenty of confidence, and coming home after a big Monday Night loss should have the Ravens feathers ruffled.
Cincys weakness is the running game, and Baltimore should stick with that, as they are weak at QB and Cincy has been pretty good at getting takeaways.
They will need to score though, cause Cincy can.

Another of those NFC north match ups that someone just has to win. The Lions are really reeling after a huge home loss to the Bears last week.
However the loss the Vikings suffered in Carolina was far more costly as QB Duante Culpepper is out for the season.
Minnesota does have a capable back up in Brad Johnson. Neither team has really displayed a capable defense, but the Vikes offense is a bit of a question mark.
Minny has dominated this series lately, but not when you figure in the point spread. Detroit just doesnt inspire too much confidence in me.
Therefore I wont be taking them as a road favorite, and as I am prone to do I am foolishly taking the Purple pukers.

So Houston finally got off the schneid last week, however they were a fingertip away from going 0-7. Now they travel out on the road to Jacksonville.
Jacksonville was beaten last week by the Rams back ups in St. Louis. That should make them plenty mad, and Houston is just the type of whipping boy
that they can take those frustrations out on. Houston likely will just be happy to not go winless this year.

Well what can we say about this game, We have gotten lucky on the Raiders a couple of times this season. This game promises to be an exciting
AFC west shootout. However I would be hard pressed to get on the Raiders again this week, especially in Kansas City.

This was supposed to be a rematch of last years playoff thriller, however the Jets are pretty far from being a playoff team.
The Jets pretty much suck, and they host San Diego. Need I say more. OK, LaDamian Tomlinson, and Antonio Gates, and the Jets have what, Vinny?
Yeah OK Im taking the Jets... surely I Jest.

A very intriguing match up indeed. The Browns have to be smarting after helping Houston to thier first win. The Cleveland Browns have now lost three games in a row. They try to end that skid against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
Tennessee is just undergoing the growing pains of a young team.
Young team is the key, as young teams do struggle on the road. Even against inferior opponents. If Steve McNair plays Tennessee has a chance.
However I wont endorse taking a young team on the road, even against Cleveland.

Watch out for this game. The Niners as they shown last week, are not quite dead yet. They are still a young team struggling to find some consistency.
The Giants are rolling after a huge emotional win last week. However the Giants never play well on the west coast, and have lost the last 3 times they played the 49ers.
San Fran is now 3-4 ATS, not great, but respectable 3-1 ATS at home. Something to think about before laying 10.5 points on the road.

Another interesting late game match up. The Seahawks are soaring above the AFC west, and playing solid ball. However something tells me they arent as solid as everyone thinks.
Despite a spanking in Dallas last week, Arizona isnt quite as bad as most people think. The Seahawks laid a big whupping on Arizona earlier this year, but that was in Seattle.
Seattle is a very underwhelming 1-2 on the road, and were beaten in Arizona last year. In fact the Cards have covered in 2 of 3 meetings between these two.
I personally wont take the Cards, since they cant run the ball, nor really stop the run, and Seattle can run the ball a little bit.

Green Bay was once indominable at home. Nowadays they can be dominated just about anywhere. Even in Lambeau.
Pittsburgh is leading a charmed life, as witnessed from thier narrow escape Monday Night. However here's a little secret, Pittsburgh is only 1-3 ATS at home,
but a perfect 3-0 ATS on the road. That and the fact that they will run all over the Packers defense makes this a fairly easy one.

What is up with Washington, they put up 52 points one week, and cant even muster 52 yards in a shutout loss the next week.
They will need to figure out whats happening awful quick with Philly coming in, and having been spanked by Denver last week the Eagles beaks will be bent on revenge.
Who better than thier division rivals the Redskins. Philly has owned the Redskins lately having won 8 of last 10 meetings.
Although Washington is much better at home, and Philly is only 1-3 on the road this season. However after getting thumped in Denver last week, the
defending NFC champs will be bent on proving that they are still the team to beat in the NFC East.

OK, the game of the year, Pats and Colts. Let me tell you a little story. The Nebraska Cornhuskers had a 36 year winning streak over the Kansas Jayhawks. The Cornhuskers owned the rivalry winning many a lopsided game, on Saturday the Jayhawks ended the streak of 36 years and labeled Nebraska by about 30 points. The Giants hadnt beaten the 49ers in the previous six meetings, and Eli Manning had never won on the road. That streak also ended. What do Jayhawks and Giants have to do with Monday Night Football you may ask. Well let me tell you. This series is decidedly one sided. The Pats have won(and covered) the last 9 meetings between these two. They pretty much have the Colts numbers in this one. Then they go and get points at home. Folks its real temping I know. However if you look at PRESEASON PREVIEW ISSUE you will see I picked the Colts this year. On the streak ending weekend the Pats string of dominance comes to an end. Folks its Indys year.
