Yeah baby, its ON!! It's been a long offseason, and finally Football IS BACK, and so am I! Most people wont TOUCH THE PRESEASON GAMES, Not here at The NFL Edge , we've been waiting ALL Offseason for this.

The Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins will play in the 2004 AFC-NFC Hall of Fame Game on Monday August 9th at Pro Football Hall of Fame Field at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio. Washington is 3-0 in Hall of Fame games, while Denver is 1-1. Joe Gibbs leads the Washington Redskins back into action for the first time since his retirement. Gibbs becomes just the second Hall of Famer to coach in the game after he was enshrined. The Skins pulled off the trade of the offseason sending Champ Bailey to Denver for Clinton Portis. Ironically enough here they are! Although neither will be playing much in this one, other than a series or two. No this game will be decided in the fourth quarter by the likes of Bradlee Van Pelt to Darius Watts, or Tim Hasselbeck and Sultan McCullough, young guys trying to make the team. The Skins have a little more depth defensively and the better "hall of fame game" record, that and the reasoning that Joe Gibbs will be going all out to win to "sell" his being back has made the Skins favorites. That means little in the preseason - I like Denvers stable of running backs, lots of depth and a good Offensive line and I like those 3 points!
