Arizona at Detroit -3.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! The Cards were bested in a mistake filled game in the desert. The Lions were basically basted by Payton! They have had ten days to think about it and will come out firing against Zona. The scrappy cards wont quit on denny green though and will fight to hang in there. Too much instability though at QB for me to see the Cards pulling off the upset here.

They were in the game until late last week, and I should have known that Grammatica can't kick a lick against Carolina blue, 2 missed FGs and a block were the difference last week. It's a different deal in Tampa though. I got a funny feeling about this one especially when I look at the betting line. Still they will have fits on defense trying to contain the high Flying Falcons of Micheal Vick.
Buffalo at Miami +3.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! Buffalo comes rolling into Miami as one of the hottest teams in the NFL. I even pointed that out last week, thanks to Xtreme Stats, Hotlist! No one circles the wagons late in the year like the Buffalo Bills. Miami shown they haven't quite packed it in and are playing hard for the new interim head coach. They always manage to be up for division rival, and at home with some confidence the Fish might be a handful. They still don't have any consistency on offense though despite putting up 24 points last week. Buffalo has been impressive recently with QB Drew Bledsoe feeling the pressure from JP Losman and has stepped up his game. The stampede is headed up by RB Willis McGahee though, and this is a homecoming for Willis. I look for the former Cane to have a big day in front of his peeps.
Carolina at New Orleans -2.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! I Shouldn't have given up on Carolina Blue so soon. If I look at the Xtreme Stats we can see that Carolina has now won 4 in a row ATS, making them one of the best bets in recent week. New Orleans, well their enigmatic play continues, as they went into Atlanta and played a close game showing flashes of what they are capable of, also making it into the top ten of the best ATS teams in the last 5 weeks. Oh but hey, they lost again in the end. Sort of a telling theme this year for N.O. Can Carolina capture its fourth consecutive win? I don't think the odds favor that but I'm not going against Carolinas 4-1 ATS mark on the road. Especially against the Saints Defense.
 Cincinnati at Baltimore -4.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! The Bengals come into Baltimore, surging having just tallied 58 points last week. 58 points! That sort of thing is unspeakable in Baltimore. I can assure you Cincy won't put up nearly that many this week. Of course as good as Baltimore is defensively they are equally offensively challenged and even with Cincys defense which stifled the Browns to only 48 points, wont threaten that total either. Gonna go with the better D in this one, but Cincy is pretty hot and a cardinal rule is not to go against any team that puts up 40+, but what about 50?? I think Baltimore got embarrassed in New England last week, and they might try to make up for that this week - lookout Carson Palmer.
Houston at N.Y. Jets -6.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! Don't look now but despite the ugly play, the back up QB situation, the Jets have been keeping pace in the race. Houston has been crushing me all season. I just don't know how to figure this team out. Perhaps I should try bettin on em, that seems to bring out their worst! Checking the Xtreme Stats we can see that while the Jets have been outstanding on the road they are only 3-2 ATS at home, Houston is 2-3 on the road, but what jumps out is Houstons 1-8 mark in December. They may not have had the talent that they have this December for all those losses, but they werent playing the Jets with the December Medowlands winds either.

Minnesota at Chicago +6.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! Minnesota has definitely turned it around, and lo and behold Randy Moss is back too. Chicago has turned it around as well, although not quite they way their fans would like. They were starting to play pretty good until... the embarassment on national television, with 10 days to simmer, the Bears will be plenty mad for this one. Games like this with big divisional home dogs always make me just a little jittery. To no avail as they just don't have the horses to answer the points Minny is capable of scoring. Especially considering the Bears best offense has been scoring on defense. Just cant win that way in the NFL. Signing Jeff George is not a good sign either.
New England at Cleveland +7.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! Defense. It wins championships. Ask Bill Bellicheck, the Defensive mastermind. The one who architected the Patriots, who schemes how to difuse and dissect an offense. That approach has already brought two trophies two New England. Looks like the third may be possibly on the way. The reason I stress defense is that SOMEONE needs to in Cleveland. They gave up 58 last week. Corey Dillon and Tom Brady are probably salivating watching film. Might they possibly be overlooking this game just a little, hard to blame them, but that might be the only way Cleveland can seriously think they can win this game.

What you don't think so, then you don't know football. They won the STUPOR BOWL last week. Yeah they lost, to the Dolphins in a game that Miami tried to desperately give back to San Fran. Losing that game earns them the title of No. 1 in my book. Yep that's right No. 1. When I make my picks, I will look FIRST to see who San Fran is playing. Then That will be my pick No. 1, This week it's the Rams.
Tennessee at Indianapolis -10.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! OK So Im officially off the Tennessee bandwagon. They were up 21-3 last week, against Houston. Then did nothing, but turn the ball over and hand Houston points after that. Its over between me and Tennessee. Throw in the hottest QB on the planet in Payton Manning, and it seems simple enough. Watch this is the week Tennessee decides to show up and look like they did in the first few drives last week. That sounds good on paper, but a peek at the X-treme Stats and we see that Indy has won the last 4 in this series with a 14 pt win in Tenn. earlier and a 33-7 victory in Tenn. last week. The Titans wont quit, but if they were down last week, it will be tough to stay in it the way Payton is tearing it up. I don't see how anyone can slow him down - except maybe New England in January.
Denver at San Diego -2.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! This is a game worth waiting for. This one will decide the AFC West. Hard to go against both Mom and the Kipster jumping on the Bolt Bandwagon. Especially the way Denver CHOKED a Two TD lead in the snow in Denver to the recently ridiculous Raiders. Big "D" been tellin me all season don't fall in love with Denver as they will fade. San Diego can stop the run, they CAN score, and if they put that kind of pressure on Denver to force Plummer to throw, It will seem too easy - and that's NEVER the case in the NFL, but its enough for me.
Kansas City at Oakland -2.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! A wild west shootout in the Black hole. Oakland should be up for this divisional rival, and must be salivating to attack that defense. The same can be said for Dick Vermeils group - but it seems that the Raiders rejuvinated in their role as spoiler. Kansas City seems to move the ball better than Oakland, when they have it going. The Raider defense responded last week in Denver and momentum is a big deal in the NFL. Didn't I say that I was off the Raider wagon a few weeks ago, can I be the first one this holiday season to make a return... Raider fans everywhere are cringing...

Anyone that thinks that Andy Reid will let up just having made the Postseason hasn't been following the Eagles. This one will be a big factor toward who gets home field. I hate going against Green Bay and Farve, ever, but in this one case I have to make an exception. The one rule I have successfully stuck with all season has been "until I see someone who can stop the Eagles..."
N.Y. Giants at Washington -2.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! Tough match up among teams sort of heading opposite ways. The Giants started the year 5-2 and have since lost 4 straight. The Skins started out rough, but despite last weeks loss, covered and have been a .500 team over the last six weeks. According to the X-treme Stats we can see the Giants still have a winning record ATS on the ROAD, while Washington is 1-4 ATS at home. The Skins haven't beaten NY in Washington since 2001. That indicates the Giants should win this game, but my play is still the Skins as I feel the Giants are still making too many mistakes offensively to beat a pretty good Washington defense.

The Jags started out looking like contenders, even getting Leftwich back last week they couldn't get the win. Pitt just keeps rumbling along, at 10-1 they are playing for Home field advantage. Ahhh but a telling sign is that Pitt. Failed to cover last week. In fact comparatively Ben Rothlisberger struggled against a tough Redskin defense. The Jags need this one and have the D to match up with Pitt. Playing at home even against powerful Pitt, I still on the Jags, my sleeper pick in the AFC to scratch and claw out another tough W - at home on prime time - they will show the league that they are indeed legit playoff contenders. That's right y'all, more STRAIGHT UP JACK!
Dallas at Seattle -6.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! OK get this - I like Dallas in this game. I like the points - the fact that Seattle is soft defensively and the Cowboys have a little bit of RB Julius Jones to showcase. Parcells will ride this guy, and Seattle well the ship is gradually sinking, they can look so good on paper and then get torn up. I ought to know I took Seattle and was torched time and time again. When they lost against the Rams twice, and then torched like they were at home last week, time and time again. So knowin all that - why then is the pick Seattle? Im still searching for how to explain it. |
