I should have gotten on Detroit last week with the 7.5. I even pointed out what a good road team they were, right before I picked against them. Well the Lions always come out plenty fired up for the Turkey game, I think they will again, but with that defense out there will look like a big ole pumpkin pie sitting out there for Payton Manning to carve up! Cmon kids remember how Farve lit this unit up a few weeks ago. Get out the gravy, as this one is gonna need some help going down.

What better to unbutton the top button and grab another slice of that Pie, than having Cowboys and Bears battle over a drumstick. Dallas has had some classic games on Thanksgiving. This could be one of them. Both these two turkeys are struggling right now, although the Bears had started putting some nice games together before they were just torched by the Colts last week. Dallas is reeling, although in defense they have been going against some tough competition in the past few outings. They wont be able to move the ball at will, and with the potential of Drew Henson getting his first start, I tend to be a bit hesitant on this. Bill Parcells absolutley HATES losing, so he will be going all out for the second time on National TV in 10 days. Bill wont be embarassed in front of a national audience twice!

This will be a great game to watch. Two of the best defenses going at it in what could be a playoff preview. The Ravens have a stifling defense, although on Offense they lean on Jamal Lewis a bit, he came up with an injury last week and the Ravens are basically looking for Kyle Boller to lead them offensively. Hes been coming around though and could surprise in this one. But like my man Madden was telling folks last Monday night, this kid Tom Brady, reminds him of Joe Montana, he just gets it done, and makes it look easy at the same time. Remember kids, if your laying points, the Pats like to play those close games. Im thinking it wont be, although thats the only outcome Im not sold on.

The Rematch in the battle of Ohio. Both of these two covered last week as both were locked into tough defensive struggles. They should both find the going a little easier this time around. While the Browns looked to be in better shape earlier this year. They can add a starting OT to the wounded list this week, and will struggle to keep up with the Bengals which started slow, but have been coming on as of late.

The Jags suffered a home setback last week, vs Division rival Tennessee. That was a tough hard hitting defensive game. This one probably wont be. Minnesota finally stopped its losing skid and turned it around with a gritty home victory of the game Lions. They will have a tougher go at it against the Jags defense, but ultimately the Vikings have too many weapons and will manage to keep this out of reach for back up Jags QB Garrord.

No way to sugar coat this one, Philly is for real. They are 9-1 and arent just eeking by. They are dominant. They have won 8 of 9 games by double digit margins and just destroy the point spreads. I liked Eli Manning last week though. He does seem like he is the real deal. Still Eli will have to throw a whole lot more than just the 1 TD pass he threw last week if the Giants hope to have a chance in this one.

Yes we all know about the Chargers by now. I was harsh on them early this season, as they tore up several of my parlays, I have been one of their most fervent supporters since. My mother tells my not to go against them in this one. I dont know though, this is a classic case of K.C. is a very dangerous animal at home. While I love San Diego, I dont doubt they are legit, but even the best teams struggle in Kansas City. The Chargers are good, so I wouldnt be surprised if they pull it off. Yet they are a young team and might get rattled by the Arrowhead aura. Im not picking against the Chiefs to drop two in a row at home.

This one looks like it will be a classic clash. Both of these two teams looked impressive last week rolling over their opponents! That makes this rivaly game shape into something more interesting than the records might indicate. Carolina finally found some running with N. Goings going off last week. The Bucs on Brian Griese have looked equally impressive. This one looks tough but let me spell this out for you,. Neither of these two is nearly as good as they looked last week. I know Carolina is home in this one, but I think their defense is vulnerable and the Bucs will take advantage.
