Cleveland has a heck of a defense though, and will make it tough. Cleveland has a bunch of injuries, because of that I am thinking that makes this a "trap game" for NY as they might be slightly overconfident. I'm cautiously thinking that New York makes a couple more big plays, but Giant let downs are more common nowadays in New York than solid efforts as favorites. Reluctantly I'm taking NY anyway. The Doc likes BG for two reasons: 1) they are the class of the MAC, and need to win games like this if they want to keep getting the attention of pollsters and 2) they are playing for fallen teammate Aaron Richardson, who died after practice last week. Just for good measure, N. Illinois' starting QB is out...although that hasn't seemed to matter so far. Take Bowling Green in a shootout.

Clemson is dangerous since they have already lost two games. A loss here would really throw all their big hopes into the tank. This one, however, is pretty cut and dry. I can't live off the past, and Philly is one team right now, I will not bet against. Pittsburgh at Miami -1.5GET THE LIVE NFL BETTING LINE NOW! Pittsburgh struggled last week against a good defense like Baltimores, and they lost their starting QB. Miami may be 0-2, but they still have a really good defense. The Miami offense even started showing some signs of life in the 4th qtr. Pittsburgh has to start a rookie QB down there against that defense, Miami avoids going 0-3 with a huge defensive effort including a turnover for a TD giving them the winning margin. The Chargers don't have quite as good a defense as Jacksonville. They do have LaDamian Tomlinson, and after that its 41 year old Doug Flutie trying to win games for that team. Throw in a Warren Sapp with something to prove to his old team, and that just does not bode well for the Tampa offense, which has yet to score an offensive TD. The Bomber tells me Tampa "will be stuck in the Sapp". The Raiders are 1-1 and starting to gain confidence, and we all know, Im just a slight bit partial to the silver and black - especially in a prime time home game. Iowa +13.5 at Michigan -13.5GET THE LIVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL BETTING LINES These are two schools that are reeling a bit right now. Iowa just got pasted by Arizona State, and the Wolverines are still waiting to play their first impressive game. Matt Gutierrez will make his first start for Michigan under center. UM must produce a running game to help him out. As for Iowa, they haven't been able to much on offense at all. Their D is still tough though. This looks like a low scoring affair, with the home team getting the nod because they have better balance on offense and a D that is dying to live up to it's advance billing.
Alabama +5.5 at Arkansas -5.5GET THE LIVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL BETTING LINES Alabama lost it's star QB during the blow out of Western Carolina (thats the Catamounts to you guys). So, Marc Guillon will fill in while Brodie Croyle heals his knee. Arkansas counters with Matt Jones, a big tough SOB. Bama will try to pound the ball, and has the running game to do it. Doc is still gonna go with Arkansas, though. I'm not sold on a first-time starter going on the road and winning. Besides, Arkansas needs this one more.
