Arizona +3.5 @ Washington -3.5
OVER/UNDER 36.5
A battle of two runner ups in the NFC East both proved that they are not just playing out the string,
with perhaps thier best performances all season last week. The computer sees this as an even match up with a SLIGHT
advantage to the Skins at home.
****************************************
Wash. 19 - Cards 17
****************************************
FINAL WAS 20 - ARIZ 17 WINNER
Cinci +5.5 @ Tenn. -5.5
OVER/UNDER 38.5
Was that the Bengals upsetting the Steelers last week. YUP. This week an upstart Bengals team has to go into Tenn.
where the Titans are still not going anywhere. Too much to expect two in a row from the Bengals -- who will still give the Titans a game.
****************************************
TENN. 22 - CINCI. 20
****************************************
FINAL CINCI 23 - Ten 21 COVER
Cleve +7.5 @ Pitts -7.5
OVER/UNDER 36.5
Perhaps last weeks loss in Cinci will remind Pitt not to take anyone too lightly. With Home field on the line the Steelers wont allow another let down.
Cleveland has battled everyone tough and will not just hand it to archrival Pitt.
****************************************
Pitt 23 - Cle. 17
****************************************
FINAL PITT 28 - Cle 7 WINNER/NO COVER

Dallas -2.5 @ Detroit +2.5
OVER/UNDER 36.5
Detroit doesn't have too much optimism after this season and are looking to just get the season done with.
Dallas on the other hand is quite pleased with the progress they have made this season and are out to build for next year.
****************************************
Dallas 23 - Det 19
****************************************
FINAL Detroit 15 - Dallas 10 LOSER
Denver +1.5 at Indy. -1.5
OVER/UNDER 51.5
A season to forget for both clubs. While Indy still has some firepower with Payton at the helm.
Thier Defense will struggle mightily against the Denver Running game.
****************************************
DENVER 30 - Indy 24
****************************************
FINAL INDY 29 - Den 10 LOSER
Green Bay -2.5 at NY Giants +2.5
OVER/UNDER 36.5
The G-men are playing out the string after thier heartbreaker last week in Philly.
Green Bay is still sniffing the Central Title.
****************************************
GB 23 - Gints 17
****************************************
FINAL GB 34 - NYG 25 WINNER
Jacksonville +5.5 at Chicago -5.5
OVER/UNDER 34.5
The Bears are looking to Roll into the playoffs as the Number two seed.
Jacksonville will play gamely but just wont get it done in a Hungry Bears lair.
****************************************
Chi 20 - Jacks. 14
****************************************
FINAL CHI 33 - Jax 13 WINNER
|
|
New England -6.5 @
Carolina
+6.5
OVER/UNDER 37.5
Will the week off manifest itself in sloppy play for the Pats. No.
With a shot at the Eastern title, and hosting the 1 win panthers.
This should be all NE!
****************************************
NE 24 - CAR 17
****************************************
FINAL NE 38 - Car 6 WINNER
S.F. -2.5 @ New Orl. +2.5
OVER/UNDER 45.5
San Fran was blasted in Dallas and despite the travel to New Orleans with a playoff spot sewn up they
still have plenty to play for and will best thier divisional rival.
****************************************
SF 28 - NO 23
****************************************
FINAL SF 38 - NO 0 WINNER
Atlanta +10.5 at St. Louis -10.5
OVER/UNDER 58.5
The Falcons will be well served in this season finale to get QB Micheal Vick some experience and while he should
make some plays, these are the Rams here -- just tuning up though so be careful about laying big points.
****************************************
STL 31 - ATL 20
****************************************
FINAL STL 31 - ATL 13 WINNER
|
|
|
Buffalo +6.5 at Miami -6.5
OVER/UNDER 37.5
Miami can gain some confidence with a solid win against Buffalo.
Problem is Buffalo has been playing better since Alex Van Pelt took over at QB.
Not a problem for the Dolphins who should contain the Buffalo Attack.
****************************************
Mia 26 - Buf 19
****************************************
FINAL MIA 34 - BUF 7 WINNER
Kansas City +3.5 at Seattle -3.5
OVER/UNDER 34.5
Did someone say the Seahawks are still alive. Check your mathematical possiblites.
A home win and Jets loss, however Kansas City is finally clicking with Vermiels offense and the
our computer says they will spoil the Seahawks post season dream.
****************************************
KC 24 - Sea 23
****************************************
FINAL Sea 21 - KC 18 COVER
NY Jets +4.5 at Oakland -4.5
OVER/UNDER 41.5
A couple of contenders who have struggled as of late. While Oak is in and is just tuning up,
the Jets are fighting for thier postseason lives. No one wants to get into the playoffs limping, backing in.
Despite that and a big game from RB Curtis Martin, the Raiders will pull it out - while the networks are putting on Heidi!
****************************************
OAK 24 - JETS 21
****************************************
FINAL JETS 24 - Oak 22 COVER
Phila. +2.5 at Tampa -2.5
OVER/UNDER 34.5
The Playoff preview as these two will meet in round one of the NFC playoffs next week again.
That should make this interesting and While I like Tampa at home in Prime Time again, I am going with the Computer picks,
and this is no different!
****************************************
PHI 23 - TAM 20
****************************************
FINAL PHI 17 - Tam 13 WINNER
Minnesota +6.5 at Baltimore -6.5

OK, playez, the Doc is back to offer up
the last picks of this college football season.
It's been a great ride this year.
We've got some real good matchups this time around,
and I won't even spoil it by going on a tirade about the whole BCS farce
again. Without any further delay, here are some college bowl matchups that caught the Doc's eye:

FIESTA BOWL:
Colorado -2.5 vs. Oregon +2.5
This is a grudge match between the two programs that got jilted by the BCS.
The Fiesta Bowl will be their battle for second place.
Heck, a win by Nebraska in the Rose could propell one of these two teams
into a tie for the National Championship.
I like the Buffs here, simply because they are
playing phenomonal ball right now,
and I think the Ducks defense is suspect.
Read: Colorado will run all over them.
Oregon QB Joey Harrington will have a good day,
but not good enough this time.
****************************************
Colo. 28 - Oregon 23
****************************************
FINAL Ore 38 - Colo. 16 LOSER
Want to make some comments?
Orange Bowl:
Fla -15.5 v. Maryld +15.5
Give props to Maryland Coach Ralph "the Fridge" for
doing an excellent job
with the Terrapins this season.
But please, with Ernest Graham healthy,
the Gators are simply too good.
They have weapons all over the field,
and Grossman can get the ball downfield in a hurry.
To add further, the game is in Florida -
this one will feel like a homer for the Gators.
Simply put the Doc likes the Gators big.
****************************************
Fla. 41 - Marylnd 17
****************************************
FINAL Fla 56 - Maryld 23 WINNER!

Independence Bowl:
Iowa State +7.5 v. Alabama -7.5
The Crimson Tide is a storied football program
in the midst of some tough times and scandal.
With NCAA violations looming large, and rumors of Coach Dennis Franchione
looking to bail after just one season, this is a distracted team.
I see Iowa State as a team hungry for a bowl win,
and Bama as a team that isn't accustomed to getting up
for the Independence Bowl in lovely Shrevport, LA.
Look for the hungrier team to win this one.
Senaca Wallace has been the man for the Cyclones all year,
and I like him to lead Iowa State to victory and in the process get
a fat raise for coach Dan McCarney.
****************************************
Iowa St. 24 - Alabama 23
****************************************
FINAL Bama 14 - Ia. St. 13 COVER

Citrus Bowl:
Florida State +1.5 v. Virgina Tech -1.5
Although Florida State QB Chris Rix has shown signs of becoming
a great leader for Saint Bobby, I like the stout Tech
defense to control the tempo of this game. They shceme and they blitz and can cause
chaos to opposing offenses. On the other side of the ball,
the Hokies have had trouble finding an offensive rhythm this season.
I still see the Hokies doing just enough to win this one.
Defense, special teams, and maybe a turnover or two
will add up to success for Beamer's troops.
****************************************
Virgina Tech 27 - Florida St. 17
****************************************
FINAL FSU 30 - Va Tech. 17 LOSER

Oh the "National Championship", yeah, I almost forgot --
Miami will win, but it will be a tough game.
The Huskers are a proud team that is pissed off about all the
"you don't belong" talk going around. That tends to motivate a team especially the caliber of a Nebraska.
They will make this one interesting, but Miami's awesome overall talent will win out.
The Canes win by 10! (Line Canes -9.5)
FINAL Mia 37 - NEB 14 WINNER!
That's it, folks. It's been a fun year. Its now time for the Doc to head into the offseason.
