| 5. LA Lakers | Say what you will the Champs are coasting through the season, we'll see the real Lakers in the playoffs. The injuries have only helped the depth on this team, when they get everyone healthy lookout. |

| 7. Dallas Mavericks | A dangerous team with lots of offense that can beat anyone, they need to show more defensive acumen to be considered serious contenders. |
